Having been previously beaten 3-1 away to Royals earlier on in the season, Knutsford Volleyball Club were looking to revenge the loss earlier in the season with their sights firmly set on finishing in 4th place in the Merseyside Volleyball League Men’s Division 1.
In the last match of the season, sadly Knutsford Volleyball Club eventually fell to a 1-3 set loss, but still managed to finish in joint 4th position by tying on points with Wallasey.
Taking place at Knutsford Leisure Centre, Knutsford stormed into a first set lead (25-23), Royals eventually found their rhythm by winning the next three sets to run out deserved winners by winning 1-3 to complete the double.
